Chef's Note
Packing crackers in a separate parchment wrap prevents moisture migration from the cheese, keeping them perfectly crisp.

Ingredients
10 oz block mild cheddar cheese
15 oz deli-sliced turkey breast
40 pieces whole grain crackers
1 whole English cucumber
3 medium whole sweet carrots
2.5 cups fresh red seedless grapes
Instructions
- 1
Peel 3 medium sweet carrots and slice them into thin, kid-friendly sticks.
- 2
Wash 1 English cucumber and slice it into 1/4-inch thick rounds. For younger children, cut these rounds into quarters to ensure safe, bite-sized pieces.
- 3
Wash 2.5 cups of fresh red seedless grapes and pull them off their stems. For toddlers, slice the grapes lengthwise to eliminate any choking hazards.
- 4
Cut 10 oz of block mild cheddar cheese into 1/2-inch cubes or small squares that easily stack on top of the crackers.
- 5
Lay out 15 oz of deli-sliced turkey breast. Roll each slice up tightly, then cut the rolls in half to make fun, bite-sized meat pinwheels.
- 6
Assemble 5 individual bento-style lunch boxes. Wrap 8 whole grain crackers for each serving in a small piece of parchment paper or place them in a silicone baking cup to keep them dry.
- 7
In the remaining compartments of each box, divide the 10 oz of cubed cheese, 15 oz of rolled turkey pinwheels, carrot sticks, cucumber slices, and grapes evenly.
- 8
Seal the lunch containers tightly and store them in the refrigerator, or pack them directly into insulated lunch bags with ice packs to keep them cold and fresh until lunchtime.
