Chef's Note
Overnight oats are incredibly customizable! If the mixture is too thick for your liking after soaking overnight, simply stir in a splash of extra milk right before eating to loosen it up.

Ingredients
4 cups rolled oats
4 cups milk
2 cups plain Greek yogurt
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 tablespoons chia seeds
1 cup fresh strawberries
1 cup fresh blueberries
Instructions
- 1
Wash 1 cup of fresh strawberries and 1 cup of fresh blueberries under cold water. Hull and slice the strawberries, then set all berries aside in a small container.
- 2
In a large mixing bowl, combine 4 cups of raw rolled oats and 4 tablespoons of chia seeds.
- 3
Pour 4 cups of milk, 2 cups of plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup of pure maple syrup, and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract into the bowl with the oats.
- 4
Stir the mixture thoroughly with a large spoon until the yogurt is completely integrated and no dry pockets of oats remain.
- 5
Divide the prepared oat mixture into two equal portions (each representing 2 cups of the original dry oats).
- 6
Portion one half of the mixture into 4 individual serving jars or bowls for today's breakfast, and top each with the prepared fresh strawberries and blueberries.
- 7
Transfer the remaining half of the prepared oat mixture into an airtight container without berries, seal it, and store in the refrigerator to reserve as the base for Day 2 breakfast.
- 8
Cover today's portions and refrigerate overnight (or for at least 4 hours) to allow the oats and chia seeds to fully absorb the liquid and soften before serving.
