Chef's Note
To keep the pretzel bites extra soft for your toddler, you can wrap them in a damp paper towel and microwave them for 15-20 seconds instead of baking them. This prevents a crust from forming, making them much easier for little ones to chew!

Ingredients
270 g frozen soft pretzel bites
4 oz cheddar cheese block
1.5 cups nonfat plain Greek yogurt
2 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp coarse salt
Instructions
- 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the pretzels.
- 2
Arrange 270g frozen soft pretzel bites in a single layer on a baking sheet. Lightly mist them with a tiny splash of water, then sprinkle 1/2 tsp coarse salt evenly over the top.
- 3
Bake the pretzel bites for 6 to 8 minutes until they are fully warmed through, soft, and pillowy.
- 4
While the pretzels bake, prepare the dipping sauce by whisking together 1.5 cups nonfat plain Greek yogurt, 2 tbsp yellow mustard, and 1 tbsp honey in a small bowl until completely smooth.
- 5
Prepare the cheese: Cut 4 oz cheddar cheese block into small, 1/2-inch cubes for the 10-year-old. For the 2-year-old toddler, slice their portion of cheese into very thin, bite-sized matchsticks or small shreds to eliminate any choking hazard.
- 6
To pack for the 10-year-old's school lunch: Pre-warm an insulated thermos with boiling water for 5 minutes, empty and dry it, then place the warm pretzel bites inside. Pack the cheddar cheese cubes and a small container of the honey-mustard yogurt dip in their lunchbox.
- 7
To serve the 2-year-old toddler at home: Tear the warm, soft pretzel bites into tiny, manageable pieces. Serve alongside the thinly sliced cheese and a small dollop of the honey-mustard dip for safe dipping.
