Ingredients
12 oz elbow noodles
12 oz frozen green beans
15 oz roasted garlic Alfredo sauce
2 lb leftover cooked ground beef
Instructions
- 1
Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil over high heat. Optionally, add 1 tablespoon of salt to the water to season the pasta.
- 2
Add 12 oz of elbow noodles to the boiling water and cook for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- 3
Add 12 oz of frozen green beans directly into the pot with the boiling noodles. Continue to boil for an additional 3 minutes, until the noodles are tender and the green beans are bright green and heated through.
- 4
Carefully drain the noodles and green beans in a colander in the sink, then return them to the warm pot off the heat.
- 5
Place the pot over low heat. Pour in 15 oz of roasted garlic Alfredo sauce and add 2 lb of leftover cooked ground beef from Day 2.
- 6
Stir gently for 2 to 3 minutes until the beef is completely heated through and the creamy sauce evenly coats the noodles and green beans. Serve warm.
