Chef's Note

Because the oats have been chilling since Day 1, the chia seeds have fully bloomed, making the texture incredibly thick and pudding-like. If you prefer a slightly thinner consistency, stir a splash of water or unsweetened milk into the oats before layering.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup leftover rolled oats

  • 1 cup leftover greek yogurt

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp raw walnuts

Instructions
  • 1

Retrieve the 1 cup of leftover rolled oats (which were cooked with cinnamon and chia seeds) and the 1 cup of leftover greek yogurt from the refrigerator, both prepped and stored on Day 1.

  • 2

Place 1 tbsp of raw walnuts on a clean cutting board and finely chop them with a chef's knife.

  • 3

In a clean glass jar or serving bowl, spoon in the 1 cup of cold leftover rolled oats to form the base layer.

  • 4

Layer the 1 cup of cold leftover greek yogurt directly over the oats, spreading it evenly with the back of a spoon.

  • 5

Drizzle 1 tbsp of maple syrup over the yogurt layer.

  • 6

Garnish the top by dusting with 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon and sprinkling with the chopped 1 tbsp of raw walnuts.
