Chef's Note

For an even creamier, milkshake-like texture, peel your bananas ahead of time, slice them, and freeze them in a zip-top bag overnight before blending!

Ingredients
  • 3 medium fresh bananas

  • 1 cup raw rolled oats

  • 3 cups whole milk

  • 4 tbsp creamy peanut butter

  • 2.5 scoops vanilla whey protein powder

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions
  • 1

Peel 3 medium fresh bananas and slice them into 1-inch rounds.

  • 2

In a high-speed blender, add 1 cup raw rolled oats. Blend on high for 10 to 15 seconds until the oats are finely ground into a flour-like consistency.

  • 3

Pour 3 cups whole milk into the blender over the ground oats.

  • 4

Add the sliced bananas, 4 tbsp creamy peanut butter, 2.5 scoops vanilla whey protein powder, 1 tbsp honey, 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, and 1 cup ice cubes to the blender jar.

  • 5

Secure the lid tightly and blend on low speed for 10 seconds to begin breaking up the ingredients.

  • 6

Increase the blender speed to high and process for 45 to 60 seconds until the mixture is completely smooth, creamy, and free of any ice chunks.

  • 7

Divide the smoothie evenly between two large glasses and serve immediately.
