Chef's Note
If your bananas are very ripe, they will be naturally sweeter, so you might want to reduce the honey drizzle. For an extra crunch, you can use chunky peanut butter instead of creamy.

Ingredients
4 slices whole grain bread
4 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
2 medium bananas
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon chia seeds
Instructions
- 1
Place 4 slices of whole grain bread into a toaster or under a broiler set to high for 2-3 minutes until the surface is golden brown and crisp.
- 2
While the bread is toasting, peel 2 medium bananas and use a knife to slice them into even 1/4-inch thick rounds.
- 3
Remove the warm toast from the toaster and spread 1 tablespoon of creamy peanut butter onto each slice, allowing it to soften slightly from the heat.
- 4
Arrange the banana slices over the peanut butter on each slice of toast, overlapping them slightly to cover the surface.
- 5
Dust 1/8 teaspoon of ground cinnamon evenly over each slice of toast for warmth and aroma.
- 6
Finish by drizzling 1/4 tablespoon of honey over each toast and sprinkling with 1/4 teaspoon of chia seeds for added texture.
