Chef's Note
To make the almond butter easier to drizzle over your apples, you can stir it vigorously in its jar first to incorporate the natural oils, or slightly warm the 1.25 tbsp portion in a microwave-safe dish for 10 seconds.

1 medium raw Gala apple
1.25 tbsp raw almond butter
0.5 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt
16 g vanilla whey protein powder
0.25 tsp ground cinnamon
0.25 tsp vanilla extract

Wash 1 medium raw Gala apple thoroughly under cold running water and pat dry with a clean towel.

Place the apple on a cutting board and use a sharp knife to slice it into 8 to 10 even wedges, carefully cutting around and removing the core and seeds.

In a small mixing bowl, add 0.5 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt and 16g vanilla whey protein powder.

Add 0.25 tsp vanilla extract and 0.125 tsp ground cinnamon to the yogurt mixture.

Stir the mixture vigorously with a spoon for approximately 1 minute until the protein powder is completely dissolved and the dip reaches a smooth, creamy consistency.

Transfer the protein dip into a small serving ramekin and sprinkle the remaining 0.125 tsp ground cinnamon over the top for garnish.

Arrange the apple wedges on a serving plate surrounding the dip bowl.

Drizzle 1.25 tbsp raw almond butter directly over the apple slices, or place it in a small dollop on the side of the plate to enjoy with the fruit.
