8 oz fresh green beans

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Rinse the salmon fillet under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, skin side down.

Season the salmon with 1/8 teaspoon salt and a pinch of black pepper.

Spread 2 tablespoons of basil pesto evenly over the top of the salmon fillet.
