    Drain and rinse 1 cup of canned chickpeas in a colander under cold water, then pat dry with paper towels.

    Wash, remove seeds, and dice 1/4 medium red bell pepper into 1/2-inch pieces.

    Peel and finely dice 2 tablespoons of red onion.

    Drain and halve 8 kalamata olives.
