Chef's Note
For extra flavor, add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice right before serving. If you're short on time, you can use pre-cooked rotisserie chicken instead of cooking the chicken from scratch - just toss it with the seasonings and warm it up in the skillet for a few minutes.

Ingredients
1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
5 pieces whole wheat pita bread
1 medium cucumber
2 medium tomatoes
1/2 medium red onion
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon fresh dill
1/2 cup feta cheese
Instructions
- 1
Cut 1.5 pounds of chicken breasts into 1-inch pieces and place in a bowl.

In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon olive oil, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
- 3
Pour the marinade over the chicken and toss to coat. Let sit for 5 minutes while preparing other ingredients.

Dice 1 cucumber, 2 tomatoes, and 1/2 red onion and set aside.
- 5
In a small bowl, mix 1 cup Greek yogurt with 1 tablespoon fresh dill and a pinch of salt for the sauce.
- 6
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon olive oil.
- 7
Cook the marinated chicken pieces for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
- 8
Warm the 5 pita breads in the microwave for 20 seconds or in a dry skillet for 30 seconds per side.
- 9
To assemble, spread yogurt sauce inside each pita, then fill with cooked chicken, diced vegetables, and sprinkle with 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese.
- 10
Serve immediately while chicken is still warm.
