Chef's Note
For a fun twist, try using flavored cream cheese like herb and garlic or vegetable. You can also add a thin layer of mustard to the turkey before adding the cheese mixture for extra zing. These roll-ups are perfect for lunchboxes or after-school snacks and can be made ahead for busy weekdays.

Ingredients
10 slices (about 8 oz) sliced deli turkey
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 large red bell pepper
1 large yellow bell pepper
1 large green bell pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons, finely chopped chives
Instructions
- 1
Allow cream cheese to soften at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
- 2
In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, black pepper, and chopped chives. Mix until well combined and smooth.
- 3
Lay out the turkey slices on a clean work surface.
- 4
Spread about 1-2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture evenly over each turkey slice, leaving a small border around the edges.
- 5
Carefully roll up each turkey slice tightly, pressing gently to seal. Place seam-side down on a plate.
- 6
Slice the bell peppers into thin strips, about 3-4 inches long and 1/4 inch wide, removing seeds and membranes.
- 7
Arrange the turkey roll-ups and bell pepper strips on a serving platter or divide them into 5 individual containers for grab-and-go snacks.
- 8
If not serving immediately, refrigerate the roll-ups and pepper strips in airtight containers for up to 3 days.
