For a quick upgrade, try warming the cheese-topped crackers in the microwave for 15-20 seconds to get a slightly melted texture. You can also customize this snack with whatever cheese you have on hand - Monterey Jack or Colby work great too!

12 pieces whole grain crackers
2 oz cheddar cheese
1 oz pepper jack cheese
2 tablespoons salsa
1 tablespoon sour cream
1 tablespoon sliced black olives
1 teaspoon pickled jalapeños
1 teaspoon fresh cilantro
Instructions

Arrange 12 whole grain crackers on a plate or small serving board.

Slice 2 oz of cheddar cheese and 1 oz of pepper jack cheese into small squares or triangles that fit the crackers.

Place the cheese pieces on top of the crackers.

Spoon 2 tablespoons of salsa into a small dipping bowl.

Add 1 tablespoon of sour cream to another small bowl.

Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of sliced black olives over some of the cheese-topped crackers.

Add 1 teaspoon of pickled jalapeños to a few crackers for extra spice (optional).

Garnish with 1 teaspoon of chopped fresh cilantro.
