Chef's Note
For the best flavor, make the herb cream cheese dip at least a few hours ahead or even the day before. The longer the herbs infuse into the cream cheese, the more developed the flavors become. If you prefer a lighter option, substitute half the cream cheese with Greek yogurt for a tangier dip with less fat.

Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese
2 tablespoons fresh dill
2 tablespoons fresh chives
1 tablespoon fresh parsley
1 medium lemon
1 clove garlic
10 large celery stalks
1 cup cherry tomatoes
1 medium cucumber
1 medium bell pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- 1
Allow 8 oz of cream cheese to soften at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
- 2
Finely chop 2 tablespoons of fresh dill, 2 tablespoons of fresh chives, and 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley.
- 3
Zest half of the lemon and then juice the entire lemon, setting aside both the zest and juice.
- 4
Mince 1 clove of garlic very finely.
- 5
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped herbs, 1 teaspoon of lemon zest, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, minced garlic, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper.
- 6
Mix thoroughly using a spatula, ensuring all ingredients are well incorporated. For a smoother consistency, use an electric hand mixer on low speed for 1-2 minutes.
- 7
Cover the herb cream cheese mixture and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- 8
While the dip is chilling, wash and trim 10 large celery stalks, cutting them into 3-4 inch sticks.
- 9
Slice 1 medium cucumber into thin rounds or sticks.
- 10
Cut 1 medium bell pepper into strips.
- 11
Halve 1 cup of cherry tomatoes.
- 12
Arrange the celery sticks and other vegetables on a serving platter with the herb cream cheese dip in the center.
- 13
Garnish the dip with any remaining fresh herbs and a sprinkle of lemon zest if desired.
