Chef's Note
For a fun variation, try using cookie cutters to create shaped apple slices that kids will love. To prevent the apples from browning, you can toss them in a little lemon juice after slicing. The peanut butter mixture can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
