Chef's Note
For a spicier wrap, add a dash of hot sauce to the yogurt mixture or include some diced jalapeños. You can also prepare the ground turkey ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for quick assembly during busy weekdays.

Ingredients
5 oz lean ground turkey
1/2 tbsp taco seasoning
1 large whole wheat tortilla
2 tbsp Greek yogurt
1 tsp lime juice
1 tbsp cilantro, chopped
1/2 medium avocado, sliced
1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
2 tbsp red onion, thinly sliced
2 tbsp reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup baby spinach
1 tsp olive oil
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 medium apple
Instructions
- 1
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 1 tsp olive oil.
- 2
Add 5 oz lean ground turkey to the skillet and break it apart with a spatula. Cook for about 5-6 minutes until browned.
- 3
Sprinkle 1/2 tbsp taco seasoning over the turkey and stir to coat. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat.
- 4
In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp Greek yogurt with 1 tsp lime juice and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- 5
Warm the whole wheat tortilla in the microwave for 10-15 seconds or in a dry skillet for 30 seconds per side.
- 6
Spread the yogurt mixture evenly over the tortilla, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
- 7
Layer the seasoned ground turkey, sliced avocado, cherry tomatoes, red onion, cheddar cheese, chopped cilantro, and baby spinach in the center of the tortilla.
- 8
Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly from the bottom.
- 9
If desired, return the wrap to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until lightly toasted and sealed.
- 10
Cut the wrap in half diagonally and serve with 1 medium apple on the side.
