Chef's Note
For meal prep, you can cook the turkey ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Just reheat it before assembling your wrap. If you prefer a spicier wrap, add a dash of hot sauce or red pepper flakes to the turkey while cooking.

Ingredients
6 oz ground turkey
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tsp olive oil
1 large (10-inch) whole wheat tortilla
1 cup fresh spinach
1/2 medium tomato
2 tbsp red onion
2 tbsp reduced-fat Greek yogurt
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 cup reduced-fat cheddar cheese
Instructions
- 1
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 1 tsp of olive oil.
- 2
Add 6 oz of ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks.
- 3
Season the turkey with 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Cook for 7-8 minutes until fully browned and no longer pink.
- 4
While the turkey cooks, dice 1/2 medium tomato and thinly slice 2 tbsp of red onion.
- 5
In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp reduced-fat Greek yogurt with 1 tsp lemon juice to create a simple sauce.
- 6
Warm the large whole wheat tortilla in the microwave for 10-15 seconds to make it more pliable.
- 7
Spread the yogurt mixture over the center of the tortilla.
- 8
Layer 1 cup of fresh spinach, the cooked ground turkey, 1/4 cup reduced-fat cheddar cheese, diced tomato, and sliced red onion on top of the tortilla.
- 9
Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to create a wrap.
- 10
If desired, return the wrap to the skillet for 1-2 minutes (seam-side down first) to lightly toast the outside and seal it.
