Chef's Note
For meal prep, you can cook the turkey ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator. When ready to eat, just reheat the turkey and assemble your wrap in minutes. If you prefer a spicier wrap, add a dash of hot sauce or red pepper flakes to the turkey while cooking.

Ingredients
6 oz lean ground turkey
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 large (10-inch) whole wheat tortilla
1 cup fresh spinach
1/4 cup diced tomato
1/4 cup reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp Greek yogurt
1 tsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1
Heat 1 tsp of olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- 2
Add 6 oz of lean ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks.
- 3
Season the turkey with 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Cook for 7-8 minutes until fully browned and no longer pink.
- 4
While the turkey cooks, warm the whole wheat tortilla in the microwave for 10-15 seconds to make it more pliable.
- 5
Spread 2 tbsp of Greek yogurt evenly over the tortilla, leaving about an inch of space around the edges.
- 6
Layer 1 cup of fresh spinach over the yogurt.
- 7
Once the turkey is cooked, drain any excess liquid and let it cool slightly for 1-2 minutes.
- 8
Spread the cooked turkey evenly over the spinach layer.
- 9
Sprinkle 1/4 cup of diced tomato and 1/4 cup of reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese over the turkey.
- 10
Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly from the bottom, tucking in the sides as you roll.
- 11
If desired, return the wrap to the skillet and toast for 1-2 minutes on each side until lightly golden and crisp.
- 12
Cut the wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately.
